Working with our partners we are:

• strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations to advocate for the prevention of gender-based violence;
• supporting civic participation in transparent and accountable government through civic education and awareness;
• raising people’s awareness of their civic and voter rights to promote increased participation in elections;
• strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations to advocate for the respect of human rights;
• promoting equitable representation of women in decision making;
• eliciting public support in all six regions of Somaliland for women’s representation in elections;
• supporting free and fair elections through election observation missions.
